Sausage Making 101 Class

(HERMANN, Mo.) – Hermann Wurst Haus just launched a new must-attend event for sausage lovers. Several dates have been announced for the Sausage Making 101 class that will be taught by, two-time hall of famer and owner, Wurstmeister Mike Sloan and is sure to be both informative and entertaining.
Wurst (sausage) enthusiasts will learn hands-on the German tradition of sausage making. Discussion to include everything from texture to flavor, how to handle casings, smoking and cooking times and gain insight to the award-winning bratwurst and sausages Hermann Wurst Haus produces every day. Prior to the start of the class enjoy a tour of the Hermann Wurst Haus facility and engage in a private beer, wine and sausage tasting. Take home the “fruits” of your labor, keepsake apron and Hermann Wurst Haus literature.
Sausage Making 101 attendees have several Saturday dates to choose from this year, April 27, June 22, August 17 and November 2. The class will take place at the Hermann Wurst Haus in Hermann, Missouri. Admission is $35 per person; advance reservations are required. In addition to the Sausage Making 101 class, Hermann Wurst Haus will also feature a German dinner buffet the sameweekends as the class. The buffet will showcase German specialties such as schnitzel, Currywurst (a traditional Berlin street food), housemade German potato salad, red cabbage, potato pancakes and more.
