(HERMANN, Mo.) – On Saturday, September 1, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Hermann Wurst Haus will celebrate its one-year anniversary at 234 East First Street, Hermann, Missouri. A full day is planned including bratwurst and sausage sampling, Missouri wine and beer tastings, door prizes, in-store promotions and more.

“We are thrilled to be celebrating our one-year anniversary. An extravaganza is a great way for us to say thank you to the community and our customers,” says Mike Sloan, owner of the Hermann Wurst Haus. “It has been a terrific first year and we look forward to continuing our success in the coming years.”

The Hermann Wurst Haus will open its doors at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. At 10:00 a.m. there will be an unveiling of the commissioned mural, painted by Hans Droog and special entertainment provided by local accordionist, Marilyn Loehnig and Hermann’s own Wurstjaerger dancers.

Following the entertainment there will be great bratwurst and sausage samples, which are typical fare at Hermann Wurst Haus, as well as other product samples throughout the store; from such companies as Spudmaster Colossal Chip Company, Companion Bread Company, Blues Hog BBQ Sauce, White Mule Winery and more.

Lynette Sloan, retail manager and co-owner of the Hermann Wurst Haus says, “We are proud to offer a variety of Missouri-made products in our gift shop along with our own jams and jellies that we will be releasing at the anniversary extravaganza.”

During the extravaganza customers can register for door prizes, including a one-night stay at a local bed and breakfast, sausage gift baskets, Hermann Wurst Haus gift certificates and more. Hermann Wurst Haus will also be featuring in-store promotions throughout the day.
