Currywurst
Their currywurst appears to be the closest I have gotten to trying to come up with the ones I used to eat in Berlin back in the 1980s. I have tried a couple other products but this one seems to be the closest. The only thing stopping it from being an exact match is the type of sauce or ketchup. I remember in Berlin the sauce was reddish and the sauce that I received inside this package was brownish. It was still very good but for me I am trying to re-create what I ate in the past and unfortunately I have no idea how to. They shipped pretty fast and I know this has absolutely nothing to do with this vendor but UPS is starting to go downhill and they delayed the shipping to me. They told me it would be there on One day and then on that day after the delivery window had expired they told me it will be the next day. I don’t like that when you are shipping perishable foods but again that is UPS, a company that used to be top of my list for shipping. It seems nowadays nobody’s shipping is as good as it used to be. I do plan on buying more of these because they are real good and sharing them with other people who have never had Currywurst.

These and every other sausage I had delivered - Mettwurst, Bock, Brat, Weiss - for Oktoberfest were delish. Definitely will order again.

Currywurst is something I REALLY miss about not being able to travel back home to Germany. Herrmanns Currywurst is very authentic. DELICIOUS!!!!
