The Hermann Wurst Haus currently offers four different classes:
In each class, Wurstmeister Mike will show you the ropes and cover the important topics for the skill being taught. He will cover topics such as, mixing and grinding techniques, ingredients, types of casings, safe handling, smoking and cooking times and much more. Mike enthusiastically shares his passion and years of experience with his students.
The classes also include a wurst meal, 1 free drink ticket, 2-3 pounds of the product that you helped make, a Wurst Haus Goody Bag, and a 10% discount on in-store purchases that day (excludes liquor and any in-store specials).
Perfect for corporate groups, family get together, community college class trip, or girlfriend’s getaway (that’s right girls), honeymooners or a guys trip.
General classes: Classes are offered on selected Friday nights at 6 pm and will last approximately 2 - 2½ hours.
Whole Pig Butchery classes: Also offered on Friday nights at 6 pm and lasts approximately 2-3 hours. These classes will be smaller (ONLY 10 people) and will focus on breaking down 2 sides of a pig.

Classes are by reservation only. The basic class cost is $99, the Whole Pig Butchering Class is $150 per person. Payment must be made in advance and is non-refundable. If you must cancel a class you will be allowed to take another class on a future date. RSVP early as the classes fill up very quickly.
