I (Mike Sloan, Owner) decided to offer prepared "Thanksgiving Meals with all the Fixin's" this year. Why not? I love to cook and make people happy. I was touched beyond words and shed a tear or two after receiving this note from one of our customers:

"Usually what happens when our family gathers for a Thanksgiving Dinner there are exclamations all around the table: someone will say how the turkey is just as good as Grandma Marge’s always was. Another will exclaim that Anne has “done it again” with her Cranberry Salad. Edith’s dressing and Elizabeth’s sweet potatoes are better than last year…….etc..It is all a little scripted; but it is heartfelt. However – this year – there was nothing but whispers around the table. This turkey is better than what Marge would make. Anne’s Cranberry Salad was never this good. This is the best ham we’ve ever had. This is the way mashed potatoes and gravy should always be……..You get the idea. Your dinner was extremely well received and absolutely enjoyed by all. The reality is that (individually) we live all over the country and travel all over the world (and it is rare that we are ever able to all be at one place at the same as we were this Thanksgiving). From now on - whenever we are forced to be apart on a holiday - your efforts are at the heart of what will be a treasured memory of when we all were able to gather in Hermann. Thank you for using your talents to minister life to my family."
