Hermann's popular BarBQ and Brats Festival is this Friday and Saturday, Sept. 27 & 28 at the Hermann City Park.  This event is sanctioned by the Kansas City BBQ Society and draws 50 plus teams of avid BBQ'ers and fans.  

If you need a break from BBQ during the event, stop on by the Hermann Wurst Haus and try our lunch special available until 6pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday; Cajun Boudin and Currywurst Plate with Saurkraut and German Potato Salad for $11.99.

Our Boudin is a sausage with a Cajun kick!  It's hickory smoked and made with lean pork, long grain rice, special seasonings and spices, including lots of red pepper. 

Currywurst is Germany's favorite fast food.  It's a grilled sausage served with a curry-tomato sauce seasoned with paprika.  We are serving these tasty sausages with our two most popular housemade sides; Saurkraut, German Potato Salad, and Beer Bread with Honey Butter.

We will also be serving samples of our Hermann Wurst Haus Beers and local wines Saturday and Sunday.
