Blood Sausage (Blutwurst) is another old-worlde favorite, great for breakfast with eggs and buttered toast.
Weights vary per package, approximately 8-12 oz./package.
Fully cooked, ready to eat, just slice and eat cold, or we recommend reheating for breakfast. Just slice and warm it in a cast iron skillet with your eggs!

Best I have found however that being said it could use some additional spices to make it better And five star such as allspice, clove, marjoram, cinnamon, nutmeg and a little more pepper. I have added these proportionately and it is like my grandfathers from Germany!

This tasted almost like my grandmother's Blutwurst! She used cinnamon in hers and I thought I tasted a hint of cinnamon in this. We have purcahsed from other sources and this is by far the best we have purchased. I alos appreciate that it was made with Hog's blood instead of beef blood. More like the original!
