Abraham Lincoln was born February 12, 1809 in rural Kentucky in a log cabin. 

Abraham Lincoln was the 16th president of the United States. He preserved the Union during the U.S. Civil War and brought about the emancipation of slaves. 

In celebration of President Lincoln's birthday, we are offering free lunch to anyone who comes into the Wurst Haus wearing a Lincoln top hat on Wednesday Feb. 12th.
