May is National Hamburger Month

May is National Hamburger Month and the Hermann Wurst Haus is thrilled once again! You can't get much more American than a big juicy burger made from locally sourced meat producers.
History of the hamburger:
Originally from Hamburg, Germany, it first started out as a Hamburg Steak, made from minced meat. Americans like to claim the sandwich creation when some genius put the ground meat burger between two slices of bread. Where would we be without our hamburgers?
To celebrate this national month, invite your friends over for a backyard cookout or better yet, stop by the Hermann Wurst Haus and let us do the cooking.
Our featured hamburger of the month is made with pork, seasoned and spiced with added cheese and served on a brioche bun with chips and pickle for only $7.99.
We also have ground pork patties or bulk ground pork for sale. Stock up for the season and be prepared for the impromptu get togethers.
