March is National Sauce Month

March is National Sauce Month and the Wurst Haus loves sauce!  

We put sauce on everything!  Here are some of our favorite sauce recipes for hamburgers, steaks and brats.

Hamburger Sauce 

1 cup salad dressing, 1/3 cup French Dressing, 1/4 cup pickle relish,  1 T. minced onion, 1/4 tsp. pepper.  Mix all ingrdients and serve on hamburgers.

Steak Sauce

3 T. Butter, 3 T. lemon juice, 1/2 tsp. dry mustard, 1 T. Worcestershire Sauce, 1/8 tsp. salt, 1/8 tsp. pepper.  Melt butter, add remaining ingredients.

Bratwurst Honey Mustard Sauce

2/3 cup honey, 1/4 cup mustard, 2 T. soy sauce.  Combine and mix well, serve on your favorite Wurst Haus Brat.

Curry Sauce

2 T. Butter, 2 T. flour, 1 T. curry powder, 1/2 tsp. onion salt, 1/8 tsp pepper, 2 cups milk or broth.  Melt butter, add flour, curry powder, onion salt and pepper.  Stir until smooth.  Add milk or broth.  Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.  Broth may be made by dissolving 2 bouillon cubes in 2 cups boiling water.
