Hermann Wurst Haus was one of eight local businesses in Mid Missouri that participated in KRCG 13’s Charity Challenge during March Madness. They had to predict the winner of each Men’s College Basketball Tournament game, as well as determine the total points scored in a game. Best bracket won money for the charity of their choice.

Hermann Wurst Haus won the best bracket and chose the Hermann Area Crusade Against Cancer as their charity. Hermann Wurst Haus graciously presented a check to Paula Pierce, Hermann Area Crusade Against Cancer, for $1,100.00.

Over the last ten years, the crusade has raised over $250,000 for more than 140 families with gas cards, rent, utilities, and expenses not covered by insurance. This is the 5^th year KRCG has sponsored this event.
