The Hermann City Cemetery, a historic landmark with gravestones and gravesites dating back to the 1830's, over time has deteriorated due to the elements and lack of funds to preserve it. 

The Hermann Brush & Palette Club of Hermann, a local organization dedicated to promoting the arts and preserving the culture of the Hermann area, stepped forward to undertake restoration of the city cemetery.  They have held fundraisers from dinners to ice cream socials, in order to raise money for the project. 

The Hermann Wurst Haus donated a portion of their proceeds from their Brat Cart sales over July 4th to the Hermann Cemetery Restoration Fund to help preserve this Hermann landmark.
