July is National Hot Dog Month.  Did you know that the average American eats an average of 60 hot dogs a year?  

They are one of America's comfort foods, and an important summertime menu item for cook-outs and baseball games.  July 4th is the biggest hot dog consumption day of the year, 155 million will be consumed according to the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council.  Wow.
