Hermann will be celebrating the 64th annual Maifest, one of Missouri's oldest German festivals, this year on May 21 & 22. Maifest is an old-fashioned German celebration complete with traditional German food, German music and dancing.

The Hermann Wurst Haus is proud of our German heritage and will be serving our German Platter this weekend; your choice of two of our award-winning bratwurst, served on a bed of sauerkraut and your choice of two sides for $12.99. Check out our full deli menu here.

Wurst Haus Maifest Festivities:

• Wurst Breakfast this weekend on Saturday and Sunday from 8-11 am. Includes - Grand Champion Hickory Smoked Bacon, Apple Maple Sausage, Scrambled eggs, Biscuits and Gravy, Hash Browns and a Muffin for $7.99 + tax + drinks. 
  
• Wurst sample bar will be open and hosted by Wurstmeister Mikeand serving Wurst Samples of four bratwurst flavors.
• Wurst beers will be available for samples and sales from the Brewmeister and Wurst beer girls.
• Hermann the Bratwurst will be greeting Amtrak and Maifest visitors! Get your photo taken with Hermann the Bratwurst!

And Saturday evening we are kicking off our first ever Wurst Comedy Night & Dinner 6-9:30pm!

• Wurst Comedy Night Ever Featuring Longhorn the Comedian - His comedy is unique, witty and from a perspective only Longhorn can deliver. He draws you a picture with his material from his life, being a cowboy, an Army Veteran and his many travels.
• Happy Hour Drink Specials 6-7 pm
• Endless Summer Winery serving samples from 6-9 pm
• Meal served 7-8 pm
• Dinner choices: 
  • 1/2 Smoked Chicken with Baked Beans, Pasta Salad & Mustard Potato Salad 
  • German Platter: Smoked Pork Chop & Best of Show Bratwurst with Sauerkraut, German Potato Salad & Red Cabbage - Tea or Lemonade Included with the meal
